Art José and Josy appreciated art and enjoyed visiting galleries, museums, castles, and the homes of artists. They often brought easels, paints, and canvases to our local swim club during the summer when they painted with their friends, the Koronas, and other visitors. Josy copied masterpieces, using oil on canvas for her creations. She also created original pieces. José worked in various media, including pencil sketches, ink illustrations on glass, and paper renditions of specific mosquitos when researching malaria while he was in the army.
